Our Story

Our journey started in 2019 when our founders Garima and Arnav decided to make a change in the pet care space. After speaking to hundreds of dog parents across India, they understood that while all dog parents want to give the best possible care and training to their puppy they are not always able to.

Therefore, sploot is building on the premise that the best dog parenting advice comes from other dog parents. Hence, we work hard to curate dog parents that love their dogs, want the best care for them & believe in paying it forward by helping other dog parents.

We aim to be the single source of truth for all dog parents across India. We’re gradually building towards creating a database for all dog-related services like nutritionists, veterinarians, pet boarding centers, and dog trainers across different cities.

We were also a part of the first batch of Google’s app scale academy which is a growth and development program by Google and MeitY, featuring 100 Indian techpreneurs - allowing them to take their ideas to the next level.
